Z Sisters Pickleball Video of the Week
The Cast Iron Paddles
We traded our paddles for heavy cast iron skillets to discover how the extra weight and tiny sweet spot drastically improve our hand-eye coordination and make a normal paddle feel incredibly light in comparison. We managed a 7-hit rally, proving that with enough focus and a low center of gravity, we really can play pickleball with almost anything! 🍳🏓 (link)

Z Sisters Pro Pickleball Tip
Trade Your Court Shows for Snowboard Boots?
The next time you are dinking at the kitchen line, imagine that your feet are stuck in a pair of heavy, stiff snowboard boots (or even cement blocks!).
- What this does: It instantly forces you to quiet your feet and keep your movements small and controlled.
- The result: Instead of stepping into or pulling away from the ball—which raises your contact point—you rely on small adjustments and your soft hands/paddle face to manage the dink. This creates a much more stable base, leading to fewer unforced errors and lower, more aggressive dinks.
Pro-Tip: Focus on keeping the paddle head low and out in front of your body. If you have to step, make it a quick, tiny adjustment, then go right back to your "snowboard" stance!
