Pro Pickleball Tip

Spotting Pickleball Skill Cues! A player’s stance can be a quick indicator of their skill level.

Lower-level players tend to stand upright, with stiff legs and paddle down, as if waiting for something to happen, rather than anticipating the next shot.

Advanced players, however, stay in a low, athletic stance, with knees bent and paddle up, ready for action.

You can also spot the difference in their swing—higher-level players display smooth, controlled strokes, while lower-level players often have jerky, inconsistent swings that lack control.

Pickleball Gear We Love

Our Favorite Pickleball Shoes! "These shoes are comfortable and perfect for my wide feet!" Anne Z of Z Sisters Pickleball

  • Wide Toe Box for Extra Room: FitVille shoes are designed with a wider toe box, providing more space for your toes to spread out naturally. This reduces pressure points and helps prevent blisters, making them especially comfortable for players with wider feet or those who experience foot pain during play.
  • Enhanced Arch Support and Cushioning: FitVille shoes come with extra arch support and superior cushioning, which helps absorb shock and reduce impact on your joints. This feature is particularly beneficial for the constant lateral movements and quick pivots on the pickleball court, providing comfort and reducing the risk of foot fatigue.
