The Best Place to Play Pickleball in Bend, Oregon — Pine Nursery Park
If Bend is anywhere on your travel radar, put Pine Nursery Park on the list. It's the pickleball mecca of the city — 16 world-class courts (with more on the way), snowcapped mountain views, and a fresh game waiting around every corner.
It's home to the Bend Pickleball Club and hosts top tournaments like the Pacific Northwest Classic, with clear posted rules, ball recycling, and shaded spectator seating. Easy to find on Apple or Google Maps, and worth the trip even if pickleball isn't the main reason you're headed to Bend.
Straight from 7 Days to Confident Pickleball After 55+: keep your paddle up and out in front of you at the net. Block the ball, roll it, push it — but resist the urge to take a back swing.
It's a small adjustment that makes your volleys far more consistent, and it's exactly what we practiced during warm-ups at Pine Nursery.
